Dusit Hotels & Resorts is the flagship hospitality brand of Dusit International, a Thai multinational founded in 1948 and headquartered in Bangkok. Best known for its iconic Dusit Thani Bangkok property opposite Lumphini Park, the brand has grown into a global hotel group that today operates more than 290 properties across 18 countries under nine distinct brands, with over 13,000 guest rooms in service or development.
The core Dusit Thani brand sits at the upper-luxury tier and is characterized by a distinctly Thai service culture — warm, attentive, and steeped in cultural detail — paired with award-winning destination spas, signature restaurants, and architecture that blends traditional Thai motifs with contemporary design. Recent properties such as the reborn Dusit Thani Bangkok have positioned the group as a serious player in the modern luxury-hotel market alongside Mandarin Oriental, Anantara, and Banyan Tree.
The brand’s flagship property facing Lumphini Park has been fully reimagined as a 39-storey tower with 257 spacious rooms, a glass observation deck, and a 23rd-floor infinity pool — a modern reboot of one of Asia’s most historic luxury hotels.
Every Dusit Thani property is grounded in traditional Thai service culture, blending the gracious “wai” greeting, attentive staff ratios, and culturally authentic design details across rooms, restaurants, and spa experiences.
The proprietary Devarana Wellness concept centers on Thai healing rituals, herbal compresses, traditional massage, and tailored wellness journeys, repeatedly recognized by SpaFinder and World Spa Awards.
Dusit Thani restaurants are anchored by Benjarong Royal Thai cuisine, Pavilion all-day dining, and Mayflower Cantonese — Michelin-noted venues that anchor each property’s dining program.
Beyond Dusit Thani, the group operates Asai Hotels for value-conscious cultural travelers, dusitD2 boutique properties, Devarana wellness retreats, and Elite Havens private villa rentals, giving the group nine sub-brands.
The portfolio spans more than 290 hotels and villas across 18 countries, with concentrations in Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Maldives, China, the UAE, and a fast-growing presence in Europe and the Americas.

Booking with Dusit gives travelers access to a deeply Thai luxury hospitality experience operated at scale across more than 290 properties worldwide. The flagship Dusit Thani brand sits at the upper-luxury tier and delivers consistent five-star fundamentals — spacious rooms with city or sea views, multiple all-day and signature dining venues, a Devarana wellness spa, large outdoor pools, fitness centers, kids’ clubs, and full event and conferencing facilities.
Beyond the room product, what differentiates Dusit is the cultural layer: graceful Thai-style service, traditional design motifs in interior architecture, royal Thai cuisine on every property menu, and the option to book wellness journeys grounded in traditional Thai healing. Dusit Privilege loyalty members also unlock value perks such as complimentary upgrades, late check-out, free breakfast, and curated experiences.

Across Tripadvisor, Trustpilot, and major travel review platforms, guests repeatedly cite warm Thai hospitality, immaculate spa facilities, and signature dining as highlights. Most criticism centers on premium pricing at the upper-luxury tier and occasional unevenness at the franchised regional properties.
We celebrated a milestone anniversary at the rebuilt Dusit Thani Bangkok and the service was outstanding from arrival to departure. Staff remembered our names, the rooftop infinity pool views over Lumphini Park were spectacular, and the Devarana spa treatment was easily one of the best we have had in Asia.
Breakfast at Pavilion had a great spread for both Thai and international tastes. Even with the premium price tag, we felt every detail was thought through and would not hesitate to book again.

Stayed five nights at Dusit Thani Hua Hin with two kids. The beachfront grounds, two pools, and the lily-pond garden were a hit. Kids club was well run and gave us some adult time. Rooms were a generous size and recently refreshed.
Some of the off-property dining options are a short drive, but the resort itself has enough variety that we did not feel limited. Pricing on activities and excursions felt a bit high compared to local independent operators.

Booked Dusit Thani Krabi for a wellness reset week and the experience exceeded what I had hoped. The Devarana spa programming is genuinely thoughtful — the therapists clearly trained in traditional Thai practice — and the beachfront yoga deck made every morning special.
The only soft point was inconsistency in the dining venues, with the main buffet feeling weaker than the Thai signature restaurant. Overall a beautifully run property with a real sense of place.
