Rated 4.6/5 on Trustpilot — Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaners From $80 Floor-Only to $3,000 Scuba X1 Pro Max

Aiper Overview

Aiper is one of the leading cordless robotic pool cleaner brands, with a 12-model lineup that spans entry-level $80 floor-only cleaners (Seagull 600) all the way up to the premium $2,999 Scuba X1 Pro Max with full wall-and-waterline cleaning. The brand has built its reputation on truly cordless operation — fully battery-powered robots that drop into the pool, navigate it autonomously, and dock back where you left them when finished. No corded power supply means no awkward power-cord routing and no risk of tangling.

The Seagull range (600, SE, Plus, 1000, Pro) is the most popular family, with the Seagull Pro adding wall climbing and a 2.5-hour run time. Scuba models add waterline cleaning and bigger battery packs. Pricing competes hard with corded rivals like Dolphin, with the trade-off being daily charging cycles and shorter session run times. Reviews are mixed — Aiper excels for daily upkeep on well-maintained pools but has had two CPSC recalls involving overheating risks. For pool owners who prioritize cordless convenience, Aiper remains one of the most-recommended 2026 brands.

100% Cordless Operation

Drop the robot in, hit the button, and walk away — no power cord, no transformer, no awkward cable routing. The whole point of buying an Aiper.

12-Model Lineup From $80 to $2,999

Aiper covers every budget — from the floor-only Seagull 600 ($80) up to the Scuba X1 Pro Max ($2,999) with wall and waterline cleaning, AI navigation, and 5+ hour run times.

Wall & Waterline Climbing (Pro Models)

The Seagull Pro and Scuba family climb walls and clean the waterline — once a feature only on $1,500+ corded competitors.

Smart Path Navigation

Higher-end models use AI / sensor-based path planning rather than random movement, covering the pool more efficiently and reducing missed spots.

Strong Suction & Brush System

Twin-side brushes plus high-flow suction handle leaves, sand, fine debris, and algae buildup — particularly effective on freshly maintained pools.

Easy Daily Use

One dial selects mode (floor / walls / both). Drop in, run, lift out, charge. The simplest pool cleaning workflow on the market for non-pool-pros.

App-Connected Models

Premium Scuba models include a companion app for scheduling, run history, error alerts, and remote start.

Strong Customer Community

Active Reddit and YouTube enthusiast community plus PCWorld, The Pool Nerd, and Robotic Reviews coverage make it easy to find honest model comparisons before buying.

Aiper Features — What You Get?

Aiper builds the most complete cordless robotic pool cleaner lineup on the market: floor-only entry models, full wall-and-waterline climbers, app-connected scheduling, intelligent path planning on premium tiers, multi-mode dials (floor / walls / both), large filter baskets, side brush systems, charging docks, IPX8 waterproofing throughout, leakproof battery design, lift-out handles, and large-debris filtration. Premium Scuba models add 5+ hour run times, AI navigation, app integration, and waterline scrubbing pads.

Video Guides and Tutorials

Bought the Seagull Pro for my 30,000-gallon in-ground pool and it has been a game-changer for daily upkeep. Drop it in before bed, lift it out in the morning, and the pool is consistently spotless. Wall climbing actually works (some up to about 3 feet from the waterline). Charging takes about 4 hours but I do it during the day and never run out of charge for the next session.

The Aiper Seagull Pro is the simplest pool cleaner I have used. One dial, one button, and the cordless design means no power outlet routing. After a year I have had zero issues. The waterline cleaning is not perfect but for daily upkeep on a well-maintained pool it is excellent value compared to the equivalent corded options.

I have a smaller above-ground pool and the Seagull SE has been perfect for me. Quick to charge for the size and great at picking up sand and small debris. The plastic clips do feel delicate so I am careful when handling it. Aiper makes pool cleaning genuinely effortless when used regularly.

FAQs

Aiper Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions buyers ask before choosing an Aiper pool cleaner in 2026.

For pool owners who want truly cordless daily upkeep on a well-maintained pool, yes — Aiper is one of the best-priced cordless robotic cleaners on the market. For heavy debris cleanup or pools with major algae issues, a corded competitor like Dolphin will perform better thanks to longer continuous run times and stronger suction.

Floor-only small pool: Seagull 600 ($80). Standard home pool, daily upkeep: Seagull SE or Pro ($250–$750). Larger pool with walls/waterline: Scuba S1 Pro or X1 ($899–$1,499). Premium full-feature: Scuba X1 Pro Max ($2,999).

Yes. Cordless models need to come out of the pool, dry off, and dock for 4–5 hours of charging between sessions (6+ on some Seagull models). For most owners this fits a daily-clean-overnight schedule, but it is the main trade-off versus a corded cleaner.

Yes, Aiper has had two CPSC recalls involving overheating / fire risk on specific Seagull models. The brand has issued firmware fixes and replacement programs. Always check the current CPSC recall list for your specific model and serial number before buying.

Yes. Several Aiper models — including the Seagull 600 and Seagull SE — are specifically rated for above-ground pools. Higher-end Seagull Pro and Scuba models are best matched to in-ground pools where wall climbing is needed.
